Some of your ability to listen to shows on the Internet depends on what sort of connection you have to the Internet:
- Standard dial-in through a phone line: It may not be possible to listen to the shows if you are dialing in to the Internet on a standard telephone line. The files are simply too big to go through that type of connection.
- Anything else: You should be able to listen, but if you have a slower connection, it may take more time for the show to "buffer". You need to make sure that your own computer's buffers are set high enough to accommodate the stream.
There are a few different ways to listen to the shows:
If you want to listen to the Multe Music show "live" when it is on the air (and available for listening "live" online, we have our Saturday afternoon broadcast and then a repeat on Monday nights.
Saturdays at 2 p.m. CT / -6 UTC / 20:00 GMT
Mondays at 7 p.m. CT / -6 UTC / 01:00 GMT
** These are the only times that Multe Music is broadcast.

To listen to Multe Music shows while they are broadcasting, simply click on the link to the "KYMN Live Stream" that is under the KYMN Radio logo, usually found in the far column. The Yahoo Player bar will open at the bottom of your screen and start to play KYMN's stream. If you use this method, you will need to stay on the same page of the site to continue listening to the show. To look at other things on the Internet, simply open a new browser window to continue using the web while you are listening.
2) LISTENING ON THE MULTE MUSIC SITE
There are a couple of ways to listen to the Multe Music shows here on the site.
From any page
In the near column, you can see some different listings of files
- This week's show
- Popular shows
- Recent shows
To listen, simply click on the link and the show will start playing using the Yahoo Player, which will appear as a bar at the bottom of your screen. If you use this method, you will need to stay on the same page of the site to continue listening to the show. To look at other things on the Internet, simply open a new browser window to continue using the web while you are listening.
From the Program Archives (downloads) page
This is the archive section for the shows with brief descriptions of each show and links to the page with the playlist. To listen, simply click on the link and the show will start playing using the Yahoo Player, which will appear as a bar at the bottom of your screen. If you use this method, you will need to stay on the same page of the site to continue listeningto the show. To look at other things on the Internet, simply open a new browser window to continue using the web while you are listening.

On each show's page, you will see an audio player graphic like this one above the playlist:
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
("First Edition", the first Multe Music show)
Simply click on the arrow to the right of the Audio Player graphic and the show will start to play.
If you prefer, you can download the shows to your own computer and then listen to them at your convenience. Simply go to the Program Archives (downloads) page. Put your mouse icon over the name of the show. Next, press down the "right click" button. A menu should appear that includes an option to download the file. Download the file. After it has downloaded completely, you can click on the file and it should start to play. Our show files are virus free. You don't need to worry about that!
For those who listen to audio shows on their iPods are other audio players, we offer two types of podcast feeds. Just choose the one you prefer, click the link.
