A special welcome for Sons of Norway members!

by Ruth Marie on Wednesday, 18 November 2009

A warm welcome to all Sons of Norway members who are finding out about our show and web site from the recent article in the December 2009 Viking Magazine! We have some special news for you…

The Multe Music show on Saturday, December 5,  will feature tunes from the CDs Ruth Marie recommended — and from those that they had to edit out for space reasons.

On Thursday, December 3, KYMN Radio and Multe Music will present HOURS of holiday music with limited commercial interruptions from approximately 4 – 10 p.m. CT as our gift to the Northfield community and our listeners during Northfield's 11th annual Winter Walk. The music will be a combination of holiday music from many traditions, including those from Scandinavian and Nordic nations. We won't have this available as a downloadable file, but we will put up the playlist after Winter Walk.

On Christmas Eve — as a special Christmas gift to our readers and listeners — the Multe Music blog will feature an audio file of the Christmas Gospel (Luke 1:1-20) read in Norwegian by Princess Märtha Louise of Norway. This is a track off of the Oslo Gospel Choir's CD, De skjedde i de dager, and the choir has generously permitted us to use it on our web site.
