I have always been a bit enamored with some of the old Viking funeral customs, especially the one where the body was sent out to sea on a burning ship in a blaze of glory. The Tokheim Viking Funeral Urn is just over 13" in height, 6 " wide, and fits in standard cemetery sites designed to hold urns. It costs $195 and comes in oatmeal or blue glaze. The small Viking ship at the top can also be made as a remembrance that can be given to family members. They are $20 each. Distinctive. Simple. Earthy. Nordic. An appropriate expression perfect for the modern day Viking burial — with remembrances for family and friends. It's nice to have this option available.
