This show presents a sampling of the music of one of Norway's top bands, the Hellbillies, who come from Ål in Hallingdal, Buskerud province.

If you're new to listening to audio online or downloading the shows, here's how to get started.

NOTE: The links below are to the Norwegian iTunes store. If you do not reside in Norway, you cannot purchase these tunes. We know of no North American distributor of their music. We have contacted the Hellbillies to ask them to advocate with their record company (EMI Norway) to release their music to the USA/Canada iTunes stores. We look forward to the day that happens!

Thanks for this great introduction of Hellbillies!

I’ve been a real big fan of this band for several years now, and been to lots of concerts with them, and I’ll recomend it to everyone who has the opportunity. I know everything about this band!

I’ve also met them backstage, and they are such nice guys, so down to earth just like their music :)

I was really surprised when I heard this American radio program about a Norwegian band that sings in Norwegian, and it made me really proud, cause we’re such a small country, so thank you for that :)

I live just a few miles from Ål in Hallingdal, and if you see this place you will understand where Hellbillies gets there inspiration from!

I hope that the american people now get a chance to listen to them, and see how great they are!

I will also add that Hellbillies have released a DVD from a concert that is so good!!

By the way, a great program with a great host! You did such a great research! :)

Thank you for you kind words and so glad you liked the show! I have been to Ål a few times and have always enjoyed my visits. I, too, hope that more people outside of Norway will “discover” the Hellbillies and am glad if the show helps them do that!
