The days of summer are quickly drawing to a close. As if to will it to continue, here's a lovely video of the Helene Blum & Harald Haugaard Band playing a midsummer concert held on 23 June 2008 at Steensgaard Castle in Denmark. Band members include:

I've been a fan of Harald Haugaard since hearing Haugaard & Høirup's first album. I enjoy Haugaard's fiddle-playing style. His fingers seem to just gently "trip" over the notes and he has some great runs. You can tell that it's a real crowd-pleaser. Here's to next year's midsummer!
